Six Fans is an exploration of the use of generative systems to create or control a piece of simultaneously visual and musical art.

Computer fans are mounted at the tops of acrylic boxes facing upwards. Each box is supported by a thin metal pipe on a stand. Tubes containing metal balls interconnect the boxes (hubs) on two corners. The sound and lights are triggered by the movement of small metal balls within the tubes connecting its main box hubs.

When installed it stands 4 feet tall and stretches 6 feet in length.
